Sitefinity 4.0 features one click project creation. This is possible with the new Project Manager application, which contains embedded ASP.NET web server - a hassle and configuration free way to get your project up and running in a matter of seconds.

Revolutionary User Interface
The new user interface allows business users to interact with the system and edit page layout, configure the system or set workflow without the help of a developer. The drag and drop content editing style of Sitefinity is now employed in page layout editing and web form creation, bringing the productivity and usability with Sitefinity to the next level.

Advanced Content Classification (Taxonomy) 
Along with categories and tags, Sitefinity 4.0 will support facet and network taxonomies, allowing for defining advanced content relationships and classification.

Advanced Search Mechanism 
Sitefinity 4.0 comes with an intuitive query builder which allows you to define advanced search and filtering criteria, especially useful when operating with large data sets.

More Powerful & Flexible Website Configurations 
Sitefinity configuration settings that could previously only be modified through the web.config can now be modified inside the CMS. Sitefinity 4.0 allows all project specific characteristics (appearance, data, controls, meta-fields, providers, etc) to be modified using a web-based editor. Furthermore, multiple configurations can be created and then attached to policies (domain, users, roles, pages, etc). Using Configurations with Policies allows Sitefinity to adapt to any project requirement. In addition, all configuration settings are centralized and customizations are protected during project upgrades.
